@boneyourlord That's not how this works. With the standard german marriage contract you have a "Zugewinnsgemeinschaft". Meaning everything the couple earns after marriage belongs half to each partner. So what he probably did was destroying her legal property. The correct asshole move is if you have to pay child/wife support then just don't work - then you all can happily live off wellfare.
